The Sakai Takayuki 33-Layer Damascus VG10 Kengata Santoku 160mm combines the everyday versatility of a Santoku with the sharp, angular precision of a Kengata (kiritsuke-style) tip.

The blade features a VG-10 stainless steel core, renowned for its razor-sharp edge, long-lasting sharpness, and excellent corrosion resistance. Surrounding the core are 33 layers of stainless Damascus steel, carefully forge-welded to enhance strength, ease of sharpening, and visual elegance.
