Knives of SUNCRAFT have been admired by many people and chefs in Japan as well as in other countries. "MOKA" knife series has been designed by well-known designer, Motomi Kawakami, and won Good design award in 2008. "MU" knife series has been designed by Italian designers, Paola Carallo and Jacopo Romano, and loved to use by a chef, Pietro Leemann who is the head chef of one Michelin star restaurant "Joia" in Milan, Italy.
The SENZO Black Damascus Chef’s Knife 200mm is a versatile, long-bladed kitchen knife designed for both precision work and powerful slicing.
Its slim profile, extended blade, and tapered tip allow cooks to efficiently handle everything from fine-cut herbs to large cuts of meat.
The blade features a deep black Damascus finish with wave-like patterns reminiscent of handcrafted Japanese swords.
At its core is premium VG10 stainless steel, renowned for sharpness and long-lasting edge retention.
The blade is constructed from 69 layers of layered stainless steel—hard and soft steels laminated around the VG10 core—to create the striking Damascus pattern unique to each knife.
This construction results in exceptional cutting performance, reduced drag, and impressive durability.
Paired with a traditional octagonal handle made from reinforced laminated wood, the knife combines ergonomic grip, Japanese aesthetics, and modern blade technology.
