Knives of SUNCRAFT have been admired by many people and chefs in Japan as well as in other countries. "MOKA" knife series has been designed by well-known designer, Motomi Kawakami, and won Good design award in 2008. "MU" knife series has been designed by Italian designers, Paola Carallo and Jacopo Romano, and loved to use by a chef, Pietro Leemann who is the head chef of one Michelin star restaurant "Joia" in Milan, Italy.

The SENZO Black Damascus Santoku 143mm is a compact all-purpose kitchen knife designed for everyday versatility.
“Santoku” translates to “three virtues,” referring to its suitability for meat, fish, and vegetables—making it the most widely used blade style in Japanese homes and a trusted tool among professional chefs.
This smaller Santoku offers excellent control and maneuverability, especially in kitchens with limited space or when working with smaller ingredients. Despite its compact profile, it delivers the same high performance and cutting capability as full-size models.
The blade blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern blade steel, featuring a striking dark Damascus finish.
At the center is VG10 stainless steel, renowned for its exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and wear resistance.
The blade is crafted from 69 layers of stainless steel—soft and hard steels laminated around the VG10 core with an additional DP layer—to reveal a unique wave pattern reminiscent of Japanese katana hamon.
Each blade displays one-of-a-kind Damascus textures as the layers are exposed during grinding.
Finished in a deep black, the blade has a refined, understated elegance that sets it apart from standard Damascus knives.
