Product Overview

The Sakai Takayuki 33-Layer Damascus VG10 Petty 80mm is a compact, precision-focused utility knife designed for delicate, detailed kitchen tasks such as peeling, trimming, garnishing, and fine hand work.

Despite its small size, this petty knife delivers professional-level performance thanks to its VG-10 stainless steel core, offering excellent sharpness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The blade is clad in 33 layers of stainless Damascus steel, enhancing durability, ease of sharpening, and refined visual appeal.

A traditional Tsuchime (hammered) finish is applied to the blade surface, increasing forging density while helping reduce food adhesion—an advantage even on small, precise cuts.
